With the guarantee of quality, satisfaction and facilities you would expect being part of the Innkeeper's Lodge collection, the bedrooms at The Pine Marten have been selected and sympathetically re-styled to enhance their local surroundings, but with a little added style and contemporary flair.
Each of our 12 bedrooms have been stylishly appointed with LCD televisions, luxury furnishings & a modern bathroom – as well as being as comfortable & welcoming as possible, ensuring that they are more than just a place to stay. Of course our rooms have all the essentials such as:
- a refreshing shower & hair dryer
- a desk to work at
- telephone/modem services
- tea and coffee making facilities
- Sky Sports 1 to 3, Sky News and Sky One satellite television as standard
– and most importantly, a comfortable bed. We also provide wireless high speed internet access throughout the lodge to keep you on line!

In the morning, all lodge guests can help themselves to a complimentary breakfast. Our ‘fresh start’ buffet is instantly available, where guests can indulge in a choice of cereals & pastries, croissants, bagels, breads & cheese, fruit, yoghurts, juices, toast, preserves, fresh coffee & tea. A free newspaper is available for all Guests, and downstairs.
The Pine Marten is open all day every day, suiting anyone from the casual drinker to the discerning diner. The menu is simple but up-to-the-minute with lots of comfort appeal, with homely things like pizzas, steaks and pasta in addition to some more global dishes to keep things lively. There are many ‘lighter’ and ‘smaller’ dishes to choose from when you only desire a light lunch or an early evening meal. We have a passion for excellent food that we are sure you will enjoy

Our family rooms can accommodate up to two adults and two children, we also have twin rooms – and prices are per room not per person – providing even greater value!
